My state of mind: Unwillingly awake. I’ve had a few days of mild insomnia.
I feel the most balanced when: I’m outside and by myself. Solitude is good for processing.
In relation to fashion, I have learned not to: Be an asshole. My friend and I share the mentality “you don’t need to be an asshole to be successful”.
My best DIY tip for making every day more sustainable: Buy less and make them precious purchases. And if you’re a smoker, dispose of your cigarette butts properly.
I cannot live without: Interesting things to look at. Luckily there is plenty to see, when you’re not staring at your phone or watch.
I’m currently reading/watching: ‘Ways of Curating’ by Hans Ulrich Obrist. Slowly though—each page leads to a scribble of notes and ideas in my notepad.
My eco-fashion prediction: Is that awareness is a slow and steady process, but it’s positive to see conglomerates such as Kering at the helm with Environmental Profit & Loss accounts. Perhaps one day, made-to-order will be marketed not just as a luxury, but an environmentally friendly option as well.
My favorite organic/natural beauty product: Is probably linen. It uses less water than cotton in production, and doesn’t look THAT messy if you don’t iron it. Just don’t fold your clothing into a ball with your underwear and socks.
My forever-favorite piece of clothing: Probably one from my ever-growing collection of trousers. I’m quite particular.
This is priceless to me: Family, and a small group of friends who don’t have an ounce of malintent. I quite like seeing people “happy” and doing well. Bad juju gives off bad juju.
