State of mind: Maiken Winther
My state of mind: I impatiently await spring.
I feel the most balanced when: When I run three times a week, go to yoga, eat healthy and sleep at least eight hours. When I don’t I can tell the difference immediately.
In relation to fashion, I have learned not to: Chase trends. Create a signature look at stick to that. Choose quality over quantity. The perfect basic wardrobe can get you a long way.
My best DIY tip for making every day more sustainable: Cut down on meat. I’ve been watching a tons of ‘food’ documentaries lately like ‘Forks Over Knives’, ‘Cowspiracy’ and ‘Food Matters’ and they really made an impact on me. I think cutting down on meat and adding more greens can really make a difference.
I cannot live without: My loved ones.
I’m currently reading: ‘A Little Life’ by Hanya Yanagihara for the second time. I can honestly say that it’s the best book I have ever read. I’m forcing it on people actually ha ha.
My eco-fashion prediction: Overconsumption is not smart anymore – let’s hope that continues and that more get the memo.
My favorite organic/natural beauty product: I have a lot of faves, but I never run out of Weleda’s Skin Food.
My forever favorite piece of clothing: Cashmere sweaters. Preferably in navy. Soft, warm and they go with everything and last through seasons if you take good care of them.
This is priceless to me: Time.
